The Aspire team is currently made up of approximately 340 support workers and 80 casual staff. Our workforce is trained at minimum to the industry standards and the majority of our training is provided at a higher level through our own in-house quality development team.
The development team provide specialist support in the areas of dementia, autism spectrum disorder including Asperger’s, total communication moving and handling and also person-centred approaches. This training is also provided by Aspire to other care providers across the North West.
We also host a research and development unit currently undertaking research in partnership with Salford and Manchester University and Booths Charities. The research is based around aspects of dementia including early on-set and the usefulness of day care. Our research is grounded in action learning and timely implementation of research results – enabling us to respond to customer need. We can develop and change services swiftly, gain feedback immediately and truly provide the support people want and require.
